ABOUT US
The Social Spectrum is owned and operated by Michelle Collodow, M.S. CCC-SLP, Cathy Parks, B.S Education, and Daniela Morales, M.Ed
 
Michelle holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Florida State Department of Health.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from CUNY Queens College and a Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY.
 
For over 12 years, Michelle has been providing therapeutic speech and language services in a variety of settings including public schools, private preschools and home care.  During this time, she has treated a variety of communication disorders with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders. 

Cathy has been an educator for 34 years. She received her degree from Louisiana State University, where she also did post graduate work prior to moving to Florida.  She holds teacher certification in Elementary Education, ESOL, Mentally Handicapped, PreKindergarten - Primary, as well as endorsements in Autism Spectrum Disorders and PreKindergarten Disabilities. She has extensive experience in TEACCH and Verbal Behavior.  Cathy was the Program Planner for Autism for the school district of Palm Beach County where she was instrumental in developing curriculum, teacher trainings, and programs.  

Daniela has been working with students on the Autism Spectrum for over 16 years in the public school setting and in the private sector. She has held the positions of Teacher, Autism Coach, and Support Facilitator. She holds a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science from University of Central Florida . Daniela is a Co-Creator of S.T.O.P and Relax (c), a relaxation curriculum for students with special needs. She holds teacher certification in Pre-K and Primary Education, ESOL, and Mental Handicaps K-12. Daniela has received training in areas including but not limited to TEACCH, Positive Behavioral Support, PECS, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
